Six of the best for rampant Grays

BLUES welcomed a Brantham Athletic side, who were still searching for their first Isthmian North win, to Chadfields on Tuesday evening (4 November) – and then sent them home with a good hiding.
Grays had only one defeat from their previous eight, but had seen their progress up the table slowed by the fact that five of those had been draws.
There was little chance of a draw on Tuesday after the hosts went ahead on 17 minutes, Harry Hope the scorer, and then they hit a purple patch just before and just after the break, with three goals in 11 minutes.
Kye Jude got the second on 36 minutes, Jack Stone added the third from the spot five minutes later, and two minutes into the second half Michael Bareck made it four.
Still they weren't finished, and 20 minutes later Stone added another, with Oscar Shelvey finishing things off with a sixth 13 minutes from time.
It was double joy for Shelvey, whose sending off in last week's match at Bowers was overturned by an FA panel.

Grays are up to twelfth after the win and five points behind sixth-placed Newmarket, who they entertain on Saturday.
