THURROCK T-Birds begin their new season with a trip to Bath this afternoon (Sunday, 27 September), a campaign delayed due to the RFU pushing fixtures back because of the extreme summer weather that caused pitches to become too hard and dangerous to play on.

Following the end of last season and during pre-season a number of changes have been made to the coaching, management and player leadership team and a number of new players that have joined Thurrock too!

New head coach is Earl Gorman, who has settled into his new role and has been forming his coaching support. In the background, Mandi Diana has joined the management team.

On the field, Milly Thurman-Newall is the new T-Birds captain. Vice-captain is Hannah Sandeman.
