AFTER a chastening home defeat by neighbours Gravesend last time out, Thurrock will be hoping for better things when they travel to Old Colfeians today (Saturday, 12 October).

It will be a meeting of the bottom two clubs in the London and South East Regional Two South East Division.

Both sides are without a win or a draw in the league so something will have to give at the Sports Ground in Lee, South London.

There will be action at Oakfield, where the seconds take on their Hertford RFC counterparts.

Tomorrow, boosted by a first win of the season last week, Thurrock T-Birds ladies travel to table-topping Richmond in ther Championship South.
