PRE-season training at Thurrock Rugby Club is now well under way for both the men's and women's teams.

The men's firsts will compete in the Counties 1 Essex (Level 7), where the season will kick off with a short trip to Old Cooperians on Saturday, 6 September.

A trial match on Friday, 8 August will be followed up by games against Level 6 opposition in Woodford, away on 16 August and Braintree, who won Counties 1 Essex last season at Home on 23 August.

Thurrock Ladies (T-Birds) will also be in pre-season action with a home fuxture against Brunel On Saturday, 30 August 1pm.
