T-Birds secure first part of what may be a Twickenham double act!

THURROCK Rugby Club is planning a trip to the sport's HQ, Twickenham, after its ladies second 15 won through to the final of the Papa John's Community Cup today (Sunday, 24 March).

The T-Birds second XV beat Amesbury l=Ladies 42-10 and will now face Sheffield Tigers women in the final at Twickenham on Sunday, 12 May.

And it may even be a double date for the club as the T-Birds firsts play host to Sale FC 1861 in the National Cup play-off semi-final on 21 April – with the final also due to be played at Twickenham.
