THURROCK continue their quest for the London and South East Counties 1 Essex title with a trip to Billericay today (Saturday, 24 January).

Tees, who boast a 100 per cent win record from ten matches, top the table, with a two point lead and a match in hand over second-placed Epping Upper Clapton. The margin would have been greater but Thurrock were docked three points for their ongoing poor club disciplinary record.

Billericay sit in fifth, with five wins from 11 matches.  The match will be livestreamed and you can watch via this link.

There's action in the same division at Stanford-le-Hope's Recreation ground where bottom of the table Stanford will be hoping for a season's third win against mid-table East London. The visitors won the corresponding clash on their own ground 26-8 in October, but they have won only one of five outings on the road so there is some cause for optimism in the home camp.

After a resounding 59-26 triumph in the Essex Division One derby at Thurrock last week, Pegasus Palmerians travel to Westcliff Seconds today. The match presents a tough challenge for Pegs as the hosts are on top of the table.

In Division Two, third-placed Thames are at home to fourth-placed Runwell Wyverns. It will be only Thames' second match since early December's win at Bancroft.

Tomorrow (Sunday, 25 January) Thurrock T-Birds will be looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat in their last outing at Championship South leaders Richmond when they entertain Henley Hawks (2pm ko).

The match is sponsored by Total IT, who have been big supporters of the club, saying: "We're all about strength, strategy, and supporting communities — so sponsoring the incredible T-Birds Women's Rugby Club was a no-brainer!

"The team are fierce on the field, fearless in the scrum, and fantastic role models off the pitch. We are proud to back a team that embodies teamwork, resilience, and the power of women in sport."
