RIVERSIDE Community Big Local is hosting an evening with Lara Maiklem, the award-winning author of the Sunday Times bestseller Mudlarking: Lost and found on the River Thames.

Join Lara on a journey down the tidal Thames as she tells the story of the river and the city through the lost and discarded objects that mudlarks have found.

The venue for the evening is Thurrock Yacht Club, Thames Road in Grays - the Yacht Club has a licensed bar, and the free event starts starts at 7pm.
