The annual Christmas Light Switch On for Purfleet-on-Thames this year will start at 4.30pm on the green next to the Royal Hotel.
Carol singing will be led by Thurrock's Thames Opera Company.
Complimentary sausage rolls, mince pies and mulled wine.
Other Winter warmers will be available to buy.
Lights turn on at 5pm.
