ANOTHER religious group is planning to expand its premises in Grays.

Last week Thurrock Nub News reported on approval of a plan to add a new floor to Thurrock Islamic Education and Cultural Association's mosque in Grays Town Park.

Now Thurrock Council has received an application to extend the premises of the Gates Of Praise International Christian Centre on London Road.

The plan is to create a first floor extension to the buildings which make up 79 to 83 London Road to include five meeting rooms.

The church says the proposal is for community purpose and social outings to facilitate the more integration of youth and adults in the community.
