A DISUSED shop on a Thurrock shopping parade could be turned into a home if a planning application put before Thurrock Council wins approval.

And in another application an office block in the heart of Grays town centre is suggested as the site for another business to residential conversion.

A bid has been put in to turn the property at 66 and 66A Woodbrooke Way, Corringham, into three flats. The ground floor of the building has been boarded shut and disused for approximately seven years.
