GRAYS Beach and the Thames riverside will get a long-awaited clean up next weekend when the Grays Beachcombers return to action..

However, it will be a limited action as, because of social distancing, organiser Steve Cathcpole is only inviting five volunteers to join in for this first clean-up since lockdown was imposed.

Steve says: "If you would like to join us email [email protected] and I will email the first five volunteers."

The litter pick will be next Sunday (5 July).
