999 services - including air ambulance - respond after girl falls through roof in Grays

THE air ambulance landed and emergency vehicles rushed to the scene in the heart of Grays this afternoon (Sunday, 26 July after a young girl fell through a roof near Grays Town park.

A statement from the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Service said: "An Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle was tasked to assist EEAST with a female patient fall incident in Bedford Road, Grays. Teams worked together on scene to optimise patient outcome. The patient was transferred to the Emergency Department for ongoing treatment."

The girl was taken to Basildon & Thurrock Hospital by road ambulance for further assessment and care. After treatment she was released and has returned home to her family.
