POLICE are investigating a burglary in which gold coins similar to those pictured were stolen.

The victim's house in Bredle Way, Aveley, was burgled sometime between 6am and 5.20pm on Thursday, 16 July.

The thieves stole items including Iranian gold coins, a gold chain and bracelet, and a Rado watch.

Officers have carried out enquiries including forensic examinations and speaking to neighbours to see if they saw anything or have CCTV.

A spokesperson said: "We would like to speak to anyone else who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious.

"We are also keen to speak to anyone who has been offered items for sale similar to those stolen."
