A13 closure this coming weekend - diversion will be in place

WEEKEND roadworks including the closure of both carriageways will resume on the A13 this weekend.
The road will be closed in both directions between Orsett and Stanford-le-Hope for resurfacing and drainage works from 9pm on Friday (19 February) until 5am on 22 February.
Thurrock Council is advising non-local traffic to use alternative routes (A130, A127, M25).
Traffic diverted off the A13 in both direction will be diverted via the old Stanford Road A1013. Restrictions will be in place in Horndon on the Hill. Orsett Road will be closed between High Road and Victoria Road and there will be a temporary one-way system in Gordon Road and Victoria Road.
