And the band (or some of them) play on for Christmas!

MEMBERS of Grays Town Band will be bringing a crumb of Christmas cheer and Covid relief with a series of 'driveway' concerts in the coming days.

They start this morning (Saturday, 12 December) at 68 Whitmore Avenue in Grays at 10.30am.

Other small concerts by the Grays Band quartet are

Saturday 12th:

  1. 30 - 68 Whitmore Avenue , RM16 2HU
  2. 00 - 99 Bradleigh Avenue, RM17 5RH
  3. 00 - Lakeside (Outside on the staging at the Quays by M&S and the Cinema.
  4. 45 - 60 Nutberry Avenue, RM16 2TL

Sunday 13th:

  1. 00 - Orsett Heath, corner of Longhouse Road & Morant Road, RM16 4RT
  2. 00 - Pepys Close, Tilbury, RM18 8JT
  3. 00 - Rivendell, Meesons Lane Grays, RM17 5HR

Aside from Lakeside, these concerts are all on driveways or gardens of band members or relatives' houses.

The band - who are also producing an online advent calendar of music, see video - say: "Please feel free to come along and listen but please adhere to social distancing."
