IN the latest of a series of applications to develop a site in Chadwell St Mary for new homes, a new plan has been submitted to Thurrock Council to demolish a delapidated bungalow and replace it with a new four bedroom home.

The site of the proposed development is 145 River View, where four years ago an application for a development consisting of four new two-bedroom homes comprising two semi-detached buildings was approved.

That application also involved amendments to the next door property.

A previous application for five homes on the site had been refused.

However, though permission was approved in November 2019 for four homes and so has not yet lapsed, it appears the scheme is not to be followed up and new application for the site of 145 has been submitted.

It seeks demolition of the existing bungalow and the erection of a four bedroom house with associated hard and soft landscaping.
