Arrests follow attack on man in aggravated burglary at family home

POLICE officers investigating an incident in Corringham when a man was injured after an armed man entered a family home have arrested two people.

Thurrock Nub News reported on the aggravated burglary last week as police issued a plea for help and information after a man entered a home in Laburnham Drive and threatened the family inside.

One man sustained a head injury and required treatment in hospital. 

A 31 year-old man from London was arrested by officers yesterday (Saturday, 15 April) on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

A 58 year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate.

They are both in custody and police enquiries are ongoing.
