Bobbies and Beavers!

YOUNGSTERS at a borough Beaver pack recently enjoyed an informative visit by Essex Police officers.

The Beavers at East Tilbury played host to two officers from Thurrock division's community policing team and quizzed them about their role in the force.

The Beavers had lots of questions and got to try their hand at handcuffing their leaders and even activated the emergency lighting on the Police vehicle.

A statement from Essex Police said: "Our officers enjoyed their time with Beavers as interactions like this are important for children to feel they can approach a Police Officer if they need help (
