Car hits barrier on A13 - traffic queues reported to be building up

MOTORISTS are being advised there may be delays on the A13 after a car hit the central reservation late this afternoon, around 6pm.
The accident happened on the London-bound carriageway, just before the turn off to the A1089 (Tilbury Dock Approach Road).
Traffic was said to be building and queing back towards the orsett Cock roundabout in the wake of the incident.
