Chance to have your say on blood test service

RESIDENTS who have recently used blood testing services operated by the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust are being invited to join an online discussion about the care they received and offer suggestions about how things might be improved.

A spokesperson for the trust says: "Please help us to improve patients' experiences of our services at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. We aim to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

"An important part of delivering these standards is to regularly talk to our patients about their experiences and involve them when deciding how to provide our services in the future.

"We are reviewing our services, which includes blood tests (phlebotomy).

"We are keen to hear your views on the things that went well and what you feel needs improving. The Patient Experience Team is organising two virtual listening event via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, 23 June from 10am to 11.15am.

10:00-11:15: Click here to join the meeting (for patients who have had blood tests at Basildon Hospital).

12:00-13:15: Click here to join the meeting (for patients who have had blood tests at Southend Hospital)

The spokesperson continued: "By attending this event, you will be able to:

· Tell us about your experience.

· Let us know what you would like to see improve in our services in the future.

"The information you share with us will help shape and inform our strategy and future plans.
