DETAILS have been released about the funeral of much-loved and highly respected Thurrock community stalwart Maggie Pollock.

Her death was announced on 4 October, prompting many tributes to her from friends and nightbours in South Ockendon and from communities across the borough.

The funeral service will take place at the South Essex Crematorium, Corbetts Tey, Upminster, on Friday 10 November at 11.30am then back to Top Meadows Golf Club, Fen Lane, North Ockendon.
