Charity is further boosted by efforts of complex residents

A LUNCH for residents and guests has raised the tally of a Macmillan cancer charity fundraising event to £345.39.
Thurrock Nub News reported on the first part of the fundraising activity at Freeman Court Sheltered Housing complex in Corringham which featured spiritualist Jodie Ruskin.

A second event involved residents donating items for a lunch - which was attended by guests including local councillors Roy Jones and Jon Cecil.
A spokesperson for the complex's residents said they were proud to support such an important charity such as Macmillan.
