AN appeal has been issued by a borough-based homeless charity for men's clothing.

The Friends of Essex and London Homeless is 'in desperate' need of items and hoping people will be able to drop off clothing at a number of collection points across the borough.

A statement from the charity says: "We really are at an all-time critical low for men's clothing so please if you are having a clear out of your wardrobe please send them our way if you can.

"We really will be forever grateful as we are in desperate need and would be extremely grateful if anyone is able to donate them and drop them off to any of our drop off points.

"We need T-shirts, shorts, joggers, trainers, hoodies (all in good clean wearable condition please).

"All donations can be dropped off at any of the following but please do not leave any donations outside of these premises."
