Christmas countdown starts with our festive lights competition

With 12 days left to Christmas Thurrock Nub News is launching a Christmas lights competition for - with readers able to vote for their favourite on social media.

The Christmas lights competition starts today Tuesday (December 13) - requesting borough residents to send in a photograph of their lights or suggest a display to us.

We will post the pictures on our Facebook pages from Wednesday (December 7) to Christmas Eve.

Send your nominated picture in by email to [email protected].

The winner will be announced on the Thurrock Nub News website and social media platforms on Chrtistmas Day - with a prize for the one that has received the most likes (averaged out on a daily basis)..
