Civic leaders laid wreaths at another well-attended Remembrance service in Grays

THURROCK's Civic leaders, including Thurrock Mayor Jen Craft, were in attendance at the borough's 'official' Remembrance service in Grays on Sunday, 9 November.

A parade of veterans. local milir=tary-related groups and youth organisations was led off by the Sutherland Highlanders pipes and drums.

The Service included wreath-laying by dignitaries including borough mayor Cllr Sue Shinnick.

Afterwards a reception, hosted by Grays Thurrock branch of the Royal British Legion, was held at the RAF Association Club on Southend Road.
