REMEMBRANCE services in Thurrock began today (Sunday, 9 November) at the Turps Corner war memorial in Little Thurrock.

The traditional gathering was led by Rod Oakley, chair of Grays Thurrock Royal British legion, his last as he is retiring later this tear after 20 years in the post.
