Civic service pays tribute to and honours the Queen on eve of funeral

A SERVICE of thanksgiving and remembrance marking the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and attended by Thurrock Mayor Cllr James Halden and both borough MPs Jackie Doyle-Price and Stephen Metcalfe was held at the church of St Peter and St Paul in Grays this afternoon, Sunday, 18 September.

It was led by the Rev Canon Darren Barlow and attended by many councillors as well as members of the public. Also taking part in the service were members of the Grays team ministry Rev Cheryl Ramballi, Rev Sharon Ejinkonye, Rev Carol Cockroft and Rev Cathy Hasler.
