Clair runs up a rising contribution for Re-engage after being inspired by best fried

MORE than £600 has been raised by a supporter of Thurrock's Re-engage charity – and the figure is still rising.
Clair Courtney took part in the recent Brentwood Half Marathon and, to date, her Just Giving Page has raised £620.
The charity supports vulnerable and lonely older residents and regional co-ordinator Loraine Coleman says: "Clair has raised a brilliant and amazing amount.
"This wonderful donation will enable us to continue with our free tea parties for our local Thurrock residents who are in need of friendship and companionship
"Thank you Clair for your kindness in supporting our lovely charity."
Clair says: "One of my best friends, Clarissa Wood has volunteered for many years now in helping make our elderly neighbours' lives less lonely.
"So I decided to run for this worthy cause. Please donate as little or as much as you can, as anything will make a difference in bringing our elderly communities together and stop loneliness."
