THE doors of historic Coalhouse Fort at East Tilbury will be opened on Thursday, 19 February.

Artist and writer Laura Trevail is returning to the Fort where she will be running two ghost story writing workshops in the fort's gatehouse and Kevin Diver, Coalhouse Fort Community Engagement Officer, will be delivering guided tours which will mostly cover the exterior of the fort (only limited areas of the fort's interior are currently accessible).

There is no need to book. Just arrive at the fort gates a few minutes before the start times which are shown below.

Full details can be found via this link. Suitable for all ages. Children need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Times:

All sessions will take place on Thursday, 19 February

Session 1:

Workshop starts at 12pm, followed by a tour

Session 2:
