THE doors of historic Coalhouse Fort at East Tilbury will be opened on Thursday, 19 February.

Artist and writer Laura Trevail is returning to the Fort where she will be running two ghost story writing workshops in the fort's gatehouse and Kate Sullivan be delivering guided tours which will mostly cover the exterior of the fort (only limited areas of the fort's interior are currently accessible).

There is no need to book. Just arrive at the fort gates a few minutes before the start times which are shown below.
