Crossing incident creates long queues

AN accident on the approach to the QEII bridge in West Thurrock caused lengthy delays that spread back through the borough this morning (Wednesday, 10 April).

It happened between Junction 31 and the Dartford crossing bridge, closing two lanes.

Approach roads, particularly the A13 suffered congestion with queues reported to be up to three miles long.
