Festival hailed a success

SATURDAY'S (24 June) inaugural Afro Food and Music Festival in Grays Town park was hailed a success.

After a steady start early in the afternoon crowds began to build as the sun-soaked day wore on and performers began to take to the stage.

There was an eclectic mix of music and entertainment and a variety of food choices on offer, with queues building up and many of the stalls eventually running out of stocks as visitors feasted.
