Earlier in the year, Stanford-le-Hope Cricket Club played host to the London Gateway Freeport Community Investment Fund (administered by DP World) to install new cricket nets and purchase new pitch covers at Stanford Recreation Ground.

In addition to this, DP World chose Stanford Rec for its latest global Beyond Boundaries Initiative launch, only the second such event to take place in the UK.

Tuesday, 23 June was a memorable day for Stanford.

Various events also took place at the Lords and The Oval cri cket grounds and featured both SLHCC and local schools. Everything was filmed by well-known cricket content creators Cricket District and a video has been produced by them. Watch it here:-
