STAFF at a Thurrock superstore are helping make Christmas a bit brighter for disadvantaged youngsters.

They are hosting a collection point at Morrisons in Grays where shoppers are invited to buy and donate toys.

They will be distributed to boys and girls that are currently in Thurrocks homeless hostels and shelters for domestic violence.

Staff member Tanya Bennett says: " Every gift will make a difference. Let's fill it to the brim."

The toys can be for age groups up to 17.
