High speed spin proves costly for young rogue driver - regional motoring offences round-up

A YOUNG man from Horndon on the Hill found showing off his driving skills proved to be a costly affair.
Christian Patrick Connolly, 21, from Stephens Crescent, admitted driving without due care and attention as he performed a high speed handbrake skidding manoeuvre at Festival Leisure Park, Basildon, last October.He was fined £333 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £123. And he received five penalty points. He will receive six penalty points if and when he obtains a licence.
NEACSU Madalin, 27, of Hillcrest Avenue, Grays admitted driving without a licence and insurance when he appeared at Basildon Magistrates' Court.
He was fined £307 and ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £122. LUKAS Kristaponis, 26, of Flint Street, Grays, admitted driving without a seatbelt and was fined £100, with costs and a surcharge totalling £122. GARY Derek Lawler, 51, of Digby Road, Corringham, admitted two charges of speeding on successive days on Nethermayne, Basildon.He was fined £359 and ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £244. And issued with six penalty points.
ALLAN James Logan, 59, of St Teresa Walk, Grays, admitted speeding at seven miles above the 30mph limit on Lodge Lane, Grays. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £1212. He received three penalty points.
RICKY MacCabe, 23, of Feenan Highway, Tilbury, admitted speeding eight miles an hour over the 50mph limit on the A13 near Aveley. He was fined £128, received three penalty points and was ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122.
GARY Meades, 60, of Buckles Lane, South Ockendon, admitted speeding 14 miles an hour over the 50mph limit on the A13 near Aveley. He was fined £220, received three penalty points and was ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122.
GABRIEL Amedeo Mihai, 52, of Griffiths Road, Purfleet, admitted speeding 11 miles an hour over the 30mph limit on Devonshire Road, Grays. He was fined £293 £220, received four penalty points and was ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122.
ALAN thomas Davie, 36, of Romsey Close, Stanford-le=-Hope, was fined £660 after being found guilty of not supplying police with information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle in which an offence was alleged to have been committed. In addition he had to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £156 and was disqualified from driving or holding a licence for six months.
NOT wearing a seatbelt while driving proved costly for Bassem Boules, 24, of Clifford Road, Chafford Hundred. He pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £123 with costs and a surcharge of £122.
JASON Brett, 41, of Centurion Way, Purfleet, was found guilty of driving without a licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122. He received three penalty points on his driving record.

PETER Jospeh Daly, 55., of Stour Road, Grays, was found guilty of breaking a 30mph speed limit on the A1013 near Orsett. He was driving at 40mph and was fined £220, ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £1222 and received three penalty points.
NELU-IRINEL Irinel Dusmanu, 34, of Orsett Road, Grays, was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving and was fined £660, ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £156 and received seven penalty points.
JOHN William Clements, 52, of Scott Road, Grays, admitted driving without insurance. He was fined £270 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge. He received six penalty points.
KEVIN Alan Cole, 41, of Birchfield, North Stifford, admitted driving 16mph over the 30 mile limit on Southend Road, Stanford-le-Hope. He was fined £70 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £32. He received four penalty points.
TARA Jane Dowman, 44, of Hathaway Road, Grays, was found guilty of driving nine miles an hour over the 30mph limit on Southend Road, Stanford-le-Hope. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122. She received three penalty points.

He was fined £660 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £156 and his driving record was endorsed with six points. TROY Edwin Heath, 49, of Buckles Lane, South Ockendon, was found guilty of not wearing a seatbelt while driving and fined £220. He also had to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122. GRACE Rosalind Hobday, 36, admitted speeding on the A1013 at Orsett driving at 17mph over the 30mph limit. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay costs and surcharge totalling £122. She received four penalty points. JAMIE Jacobs, 29, of Addington Close, Stanford-le-Hope, admitted speeding on the A1013 at Stanford, travelling 17mph over the 30mph limit. He was fined £400 and ordered to pay costs and surcharge totalling £130. He received four penalty points. JOHN Bennett Irvin, 49, of Buckles Lane, South Ockendon, was found guilty of not wearing a seatbelt while driving and fined £220. He also had to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122. DARREN Kelly, 49, of Buckles Lane, South Ockendon, was found guilty of not wearing a seatbelt while a passenger in a vehicle. He was fined £220. He also had to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122. TERRY William Jackson, 31, of Dart Green, South Ockendon, admitted driving eight mph over a 30mph limit on West Road, South Ockendon. He was fined £146, ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122, and received three penalty points. ANDRIUS Kavaliauskas, 27, of London Road, Grays, was found guilty of driving without insurance. He was fined £660 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £156. He received six penalty points. CARRINGTON Longe, 47, of Gilbert Road, Chafford Hundred, was found guilty of not giving information to police about the driver of a vehicle in which an offence was alleged to have been committed. He was fined £660 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £156 and his driving record was endorsed with six points. IGNORING a red light cost Eduard Andrei Sava, 21, of Lampitts Lane, Corringham, a £118 fine and costs and a surcharge totalling £122. He peleaded guilty to the offence, which took place in Southend, and received three penalty points. JOHN West, 27, of Eden Green, South Ockendon, was found guilty of driving at 49mph through roadworks on the A13 at Stanford-le-Hope when a 40mph limit was in force. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £122. He received three penalty points.West was also found guilty of driving without a valid licence but there was no separate penalty.
