How a red-faced Police Constable managed to to dodge a a PC moment!

YOUNGSTERS in a Stanford-le-Hope Beavers pack enjoyed an up close and personal meeting with local police officers - who managed to skip lightly over a potentially embarrassing question.
Thurrock Community Safety & Engagement officers dropped in on a meeting of Second Stanford Beavers at Allott Hall on London Road in the town.
The visit gave the young members a chance to explore what it's like to be part of Essex Police.
Officers said: "From teamwork and respect to communication and community safety, we covered it all — with plenty of laughs along the way!
"They also got to hop inside a marked police car and a few brave Beavers even helped with a light-hearted demo of our safety equipment.
"PC O'Shea once again volunteered as the 'pretend suspect' and lived to tell the tale — just about!
"When shown the handcuffs, one hilarious Beaver asked: "If they're for bad guys, why do some adults have them?"... thankfully, after a brief moment of stunned silence a slightly red-faced PC Perez was able to expertly navigate a safe and completely PC reply""
Officers added: "A huge thank you to the group leaders and all the young people who made the visit so enjoyable."
