SEVERAL hundred seasonal jobs are available at the Tilbury fulfilment centrte run by mail order giant Amazon.

Across the country Amazon today (Tuesday, 28 September) announced it is hiring 20,000 seasonal positions across its UK network of fulfilment centres, sortation centres and delivery stations during the festive season, including around 750 in Essex.

Roles are available at the Amazon fulfilment centre in Tilbury and the delivery stations in Basildon, Romford and Harlow.

Pay for the operations roles starts at a minimum of £10 p/h rising to £11.10 p/h in some parts of the UK for all full-time, part-time, temporary, or seasonal roles in Amazon's fulfilment centres, sort centres and delivery stations.

Amazon's delivery station in Basildon is also looking for individuals to deliver parcels in their spare time for between £13 to £15 per hour.
