A HUSTINGS taking place in Thurrock this evening (Friday, 22 November) is to be streamed live.

General election candidates in the South Basildon and East Thurrock ward will be putting their case to the borough electorate at St Margaret's Church in Stanford-le-Hope.

The event will begin at 7.30pm and you can follow the arguments and presentations at https://facebook.com/StMsSLH.

Among the issues to be debated will the the Lower Thames Crossing, with a question coming from the Thames Crossing Action Group's Laura Blake.

If you are planning to attend you are advised to get there early as it is expected to be busy.

There will be refreshments available from 7pm.
