THURROCK Council planners have given approval to the creation of a new home on a small corner plot in Grays.

Details of the application to extend a terrace of houses on Dell Road was reported by Thurock Nub News in September and in the past week approval has been granted.

The green light was given despite comments from a neighbour who said: "The parking around this area is bad enough now and pretty dangerous adding a house with additional cars will just make it impossible."

The approval was given with no discussion by ward councillors and you can read the reasons for approval here.
