It's time to talk: A difficult situation - hospice offers help online
A TOUGH subject will be tackled by experts from S Luke's Hospice in a podcast starting this week.
St Luke's Hospice will be launching a programme of four podcasts in a series called 'It's time to talk' on Wednesday, 26 May.
The series will be hosted by Learning Disability Facilitator at the Hospice, Penny Meadows, and will focus on the importance of end of life care planning for people with learning disabilities.
There will be four episodes in total, released by the Hospice on consecutive Wednesdays where Penny and her guests will share helpful information and personal experiences.
Joanne McCollum, Director of Care and Commissioning said: "We are delighted to be launching the 'It's time to talk' podcast series. We are committed to raising awareness of the importance and need to plan for end of life care.
"By sharing the podcasts we hope people will turn to the Hospice for support and guidance – whether in the very early stages of considering end of life care planning for their loved ones with learning disabilities, or those who may already need more immediate support".
You will be able to access the podcast via www.stlukeshospice.com/podcast [L+] this link.
