It's a bazaar time for St Thomas of Canterbury congregation

ST Thomas of Canterbury Church in Grays is looking forward to welcoming everyone on Sunday, 27 November for family fun and other activities including a raffle draw at its annual Christmas Bazaar.

The event will start at 12 noon and end at 3pm at St Thomas Hall, East Thurrock Road. There will be assorted food and drink plus raffle prizes and fun activities suitable for the whole family.

Raffle tickets will be available for the chance to win £250, £100 and £50 in cash prizes of the grand draw. There will be other prizes too.

A wide selection of food awaits food lovers including a breakfast bar, mince pies, cakes, Jollof rice, stewed beef, fried rice and chicken, Waakye (Ghanaian rice with beans), puff puff (sweet fritters) and much more.

Don't miss the chance for early Christmas gifts such as books, toys, candles, jewellery and lots more will be on sale. Father Christmas will also be there for the little ones.

arish Priest, Father Stephen Myers, says: "I always see the parish bazaar as the start of the Christmas season. Come along to our great family and Parish event and get your celebration of Christmas off to a great start.

"The Christmas bazaar is held annually to bring us together as a Parish family to celebrate our blessings and to help us raise much-needed funds for the restoration of our Church building.

"I look forward to welcoming everyone and hoping that this gathering continues to strengthen us as a community of believers"
