It's carnival time again

STANFORD-le-Hope and Corringham's annual carnival takes place tomorrow (Saturday, 26 August), with a procession through the two towns and a fun day at the Mobile Field in Stanford-le-Hope.

The fun day will be open from 12 noon with craft and food stalls as well as stalls with fundraising games for local good causes. There will be plenty for children to do.

There will also be a classic car show.

The carnival procession starts from Giffords Cross open space in Corringham at 1.30pm and will take about two hours to reach the fun day.
