A THURROCK children's campaigner will once more be aiming to make a splash to support Little Haven's Children's Hospice.

For the past three years Jack Barnes has undertaken a sponsored paddle from his native Liverpool to London - and he will shortly be setting out on his fourth trip - aiming to raise £7,000 to buy two new beds for the hospice.

He has already been supported by several Thurrock residents and groups, including children at the Harris Primary Mayflower Academy who raised £130 hosting a non uniform day.

Jack said: "I fundraise to help to give these children the very best care and priceless memories possible. Please give whatever you can to get these beds for the children."
