A THURROCK knitting group has once more hit the fundraising trail for good causes.

The Grays-based Needles and Chat group have been making knitted hearts which they are selling to support the British Heart Foundation.

Members were at the Wharf in Grays today to show off their creations and they have left a supply that visitors to the pub on Wharf Road South can buy.

The hand-knitted hearts will be available at the Wharf until mid February and anyone who wants to know more about the group can visit its Facebook page or call organiser Sue Burns on 07766 987314.
