Last chances to help make a difference

By Neil Speight 22nd Mar 2022

THE first of two final events in a local partnership's bid to improve the borough will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, 22 March) and on Thursday.

Time Bank Thurrock helps people connect and support themselves and each other in their community by sharing skills and talents with each other.

It has organised a series of events in local communities aimed at 'Making Difference'.

The penultimate event is in South Ockendon on Tuesday, from 10am when volunteers are asked to gather at the community hub on Derry Avenue.

Refreshments will be available and equipment will be provided for a clean-up of the area.

On Thursday, the campaign switches to Stanford-le-Hope and volunteers are requested to meet at hardie Park car park at 10am.
