OUR vibrant local community in Thurrock is a busy and positive place to be – with so much going on.

We want to help you share the good news through Nub News – and you can use our Community Chat page to make contact with friends, neighbours and fellow residents.

Our new [Community Chat page in partnership with the Co-op is a place where residents can share their local stories and pictures, no matter how small, with our ever-growing number of readers.

From photographs of life in lockdown to a message thanking a neighbour for their help during this difficult time. Whatever it is, we and the residents of Thurrock want to hear about it.

The best part? The process is free and simple. Just click on the black Nub It button under Thurrock Chatter on the page.

This is where you can submit your photographs and captions. All posts will be checked over by our experienced editors before being published.

Our photograph gallery (above)shows how you can easily do this.

Since setting up in Thurrock we have gone from strength to strength and our readership surpasses 50,000 page views a week.

We engage with positive news in the town and highlight the important work that goes on in our tight-knit community. But we want to do more. And you can play your part – every reader can be one of our trusted contributors too.

We care about what Thurrock residents have to say and your voice is the most important part

of what we do.
