THE latest attempts to block the M25 and access roads around the Dartford Crossing was foiled by police this morning (Monday, 20 September).

Officers from Essex and Kent police were on standby on either side of the river and when protestors attempted to block the motorway in Kent they were stopped.

However, the road was blocked in the west at Junction 18 near Rickmansworth.

Protests have also been reported mid morning at junctions four and eight.

At11am officers were still deployed at junctions on either side of the river including junctions 30 and 29 in Essex.
