Grays really is going downhill fast. I can't walk thru Grays Town Centre without being acosted by someone trying to get me to move energy supplier (I just tell them food & drink works for me) or subscribe to some charity (same people every week, but the charity changes). Then at weekends I'm blasted by happy clappy churches on their megaphones telling me to repent. Perhaps the council should declare the town centre a 'no chugging quiet zone' and let shoppers go about their business unmollested for a change!
