Man cleared of assaults and charge of harassment by sending hundreds of messages

A South Ockendon man walked free from Basildon Magistrates' Court after being found not guilty on charges of harassing a woman by sending her hundreds of Facebook messages.

Ricky Hayden, 32, of Daigen Drive, was also cleared of three charges of assaulting the alleged recipient of the messages, Terrie Lynch.
