Mayor's boost for historic centre - cash is invested in the past!

BOROUGH Mayor Cllr James Halden has expressed his support for Purfleet's Heritage and Military Centre with a donation from his charitable fund.

Cllr halden visited the sentre and met with it found alan Glosling, as he handed over the cheque.

He said: "It's a great joy to hand over some money from my charity fund to the Purfleet Military & Heritage Centre.

"This place is full of history from events where we have fought for peace and liberty.

"The centre and volunteers make you proud of Thurrock and Britain!"
