TWO men arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and a number of other offences following an incident on the A13 on Saturday (19 February) have been released without charge while investigations continue.

The two men are a 23 year-old from Romford arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop when directed, and money laundering and a 31 year-old from Aveley has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop when directed, and possession of a Class B or C drug.

Police continue to seek information about the incident which was reported on Nub News, where footage of a car travelling the wrong way along the eastbound carriageway of the A13 is featured.

A statement by police says: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any dash cam footage to contact us. If you have any information you can submit a report online here where you can use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm. Please quote incident 616 of 19 February.
